Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl insists the club are not trying to pressure Alphonso Davis over a new contract.

German media continues to report that Bayern has set a deadline for the Canadian national team left back to rush to answer about a new contract. After the club submitted it for final consideration

In the past, there were reports that Bayern Munich were ready to sell Davis from the team if a new contract did not progress. Because the original is about to enter its final year during the off-season. In addition, the negotiations did not progress because there were many differences in wages.

On Thursday, the 23-year-old’s agent said in a media statement that he had been pressured by the Bundesliga outfit over a new contract, but Eberl confirmed to ยูฟ่าเบท that the club had no intention of doing so. Davis has rumors with Real Madrid for a while.

“We are not trying to pressure. There is a normal relationship between the club and the players,” said one of Bayern Munich board members.

“But I probably can’t dictate what will be released through the media. I don’t know that. I don’t want that either. We believe we have made a fair and accurate offer for consideration.

“At a certain point in life, there must be a reply saying yes or no, that’s how it is. I can’t wait forever or I wouldn’t sit here waiting for an answer to fall from heaven. Decisions must come from all sides.

“When it comes to the right point Decisions must be made. The club remains firmly connected to me. So it proceeds correctly. Whether it is the case of Alphonso Davis or any other player. They have to make a decision.”
